Market Analysis: Taylor will study proposed sites and uncover any outstanding environmental, infrastructure or legal issues. We will provide detailed traffic analysis; competitor evaluation; as well as household income, population and other demographic statistics.
Site Selection: Taylor will acquire sites and/or secure land control, complete entitlements and perform thorough due diligence. Taylor is adroit at working through federal, state and local regulatory issues and gaining required permits and approvals.
Construction Management: Taylor will manage and complete all phases of building projects. From hiring and supervision of project managers, engineers, architects and the entire construction team, Taylor Real Estate Services has a stellar track record of completing projects on time and on budget.

Jack Berke is managing partner of Taylor Real Estate Services, which he founded in 2012. Jack has more than 30 years in commercial real estate development, property management and transaction advisory services.
Throughout his career, Jack has effectively stewarded the development of more than 150 stores and has established a nationwide network of professionals and consultants. Jack has successfully completed construction projects for CVS,
Prior to founding Taylor Real Estate, Jack was Vice President of Real Estate for Velmeir Companies, where he led real estate developments efforts for CVS Pharmacy/Caremark. He developed 25 new stores, including a one-of-kind-location in Ann Arbor, a unique two-story structure which preserved the historical integrity of the site.
Jack's main focus was the State of Michigan, however during his tenure at Velmeir, Jack also worked on new CVS stores in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Seattle.
Prior to Velmeir, Jack was providing value to his clients as a Tenant Representative as Vice President at Equis Detroit, where he completed more than one million-square feet of office and industrial lease transactions for clients including ThyssenKrupp Budd .
Jack also held executive positions at significant real estate companies in Metro Detroit where his accomplishments include: managing major complexes including the Renaissance Center (now General Motors’ headquarters), the Fisher Building and the First National Building as Vice President of Trizec Corp.
Jack earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Sir George Williams University, Montreal, Canada, and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.
Jack is a licensed State of Michigan Real Estate Broker.
Lawrence (Larry) Zack is Vice President of Taylor Real Estate Services. Larry brings to Taylor more than 30 years experience as a real estate transaction advisor and development specialist.
Prior to joining Taylor Real Estate, Larry provided transaction services for Velmeir Companies, where his expertise sent him to evaluate real estate acquisitions throughout the United States for CVS and various other clients. Prior to Velmeir, Larry held executive positions at several major real estate companies., where he successfully completed over 120 real estate transactions.
Larry attended Michigan State University and holds a Michigan Real Estate license.
A life-long Birmingham resident with 28+ years in retail development and tenant representation experience, Dan has sold, leased, and/or developed over 8 million square feet of land/properties. He is one of the most active broker in the City of Birmingham, completing over 70 deals during his career.
Dan’s past experience includes 15 years as a broker for Signature Associates, handling accounts such as Anthropologie, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Scandia Down, Andiamo’s restaurants, Cost Plus World Markets, Fidelity, 5/3 Bank, Panera, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Home Depot.
Jacob was an Acquisition Specialist for Velmeir Companies and represented tnants such as CVS, Chase Bank and Aldi’s. Most recently he was Vice President of Brokerage of Indigo.
